Many of us were given images of God as being large and in-charge. God and God's realm were talked about as majestic and magnificent, to an other-worldly degree. Why does Jesus, then, compare the "kingdom of heaven" to a mustard seed...and yeast and a pearl? This second Sunday in our Season of Creation, we come together to consider why Jesus used tiny things to talk about God.
